KINDERGARTEN - 6TH GRADE

The JCC Youth Department offers a wide variety of outstanding programs for children in Kindergarten through sixth grade. Special attention is paid to after-school activities and the needs of children whose parents work. We offer programs during the vacation days of the West Hartford public schools and Jewish Day Schools. All of our programs provide opportunities to socialize and enhance Jewish identity.

Kef Korner

Are both parents working? Are you looking for a safe and fun place for your children to go after school instead of to an empty house? The JCC's Kef Korner is licensed after school care for kids in Kindergarten through sixth grade. We provide a safe, supervised environment. Children can do their homework, have a snack and then participate in a variety of recreational activities including crafts, sports, games, swimming and Judaic programs. Vacation Programs

Are your children on vacation, but you're not? Drop them off at the JCC for our vacation program for children in Kindergarten through sixth grade. Your kids can swim, play games, climb our two-story playscape, create art projects and much more. All in a safe, supervised environment. Dance

Our dance program features classes in acrobatics, jazz, tap, ballet, and hip-hop. Classes focus on developing children's dance skills while encouraging them to express themselves through creative movement. Theater

Does your child like to be in the spotlight? Is your child artistic? Then come join the JCC's Theater Program. Your child will get a taste of what it takes to put together a theater production, from the behind the scenes preparation to shining in the spotlight. Birthday Parties

Childcare Suite

The Mandell JCC provides members with a child-care facility that keeps children safe physically and emotionally. The Childcare Suite encourages children to engage in fun, age appropriate activities in a clean, healthy environment. Available for children ages 4 months through 8 years.
