A doggie duathlon/dash is a perfect family event. Your dog will swim one lap of the pool, then join you for a 1.5 mile walk/run. If your dog is not a swimmer, you can still participate in the 1.5 mile dash. If your dog is a swimmer but does not wish to compete, there will be a dogs-only Open Swim from 3-4 p.m. ($5 fee).
The event includes a Doggie Expo, which is free and open to the community.
