Preschool Teacher – Full-time
Responsible for providing quality caregiving to children 3-5 years of age. Qualified individuals must be able to provide a safe and nurturing environment that fosters social-emotional, physical and cognitive development while remaining responsive to the children’s development and NAEYC Accreditation standards. Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or Child Development with two years’ experience working in a NAEYC Accredited childcare program is required.
Infant/Toddler Teacher – Full-time
Responsible for providing quality caregiving to a group of children from four months to 2 years of age. Qualified individual must be able to provide a safe and nurturing environment that fosters social-emotional, physical and cognitive development while remaining responsive to the children following their individual schedules, developmentally appropriate practices, and NAEYC Accreditation standards. Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or Child Development with two years’ experience working in a NAEYC accredited child care program is required.
Facilities Technician – Full-time
Responsible for providing effective maintenance and repair services throughout the JCC. Ability to work as a team member, complete weekly assignments given by supervisor, pay attention to detail, communicate effectively (written and oral) and to adhere to health and safety requirements. Ability to operate special equipment including, but not limited to, power tools, snow plow, dump truck, and snow blower. Ability to lift up to 75 pounds. High School diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 3 years in maintenance capacity. Valid driver’s license and auto insurance is required. Certified Pool Operator’s Certificate (C.P.O.) and HVAC and Trade certification a plus.
Meeting & Event Liaison
Responsible for representing JCC at JCC sponsored meetings and events. Candidate will successfully work with venue clients, caterers, vendors, and guests while creating exceptional service from beginning to end of event. Responsible for enforcing facility rules and regulations, organizing audio-visual needs and securing the building at the end of event. Position is casual, with no guaranteed number of work hours per week. Hours primarily nights and weekends. Hours will change week to week, based on meetings and events booked. Actual schedule will be based on JCC needs. High School diploma or equivalent with experience working with meeting and event planning required, along with excellent communication skills.
Men's Health Spa Attendant
Attendant needed for private membership-based adult locker room. Responsibilities to include but not limited to greeting members, providing a warm comfortable environment, laundry and cleaning services.
Indoor positions available at the Mandell JCC. Current CPR and First Aid certification required.
