Full- and Part-time Positions

Program Assistant – Valley Sports & Community Center, Canton
This 25-30 hour part-time staff person will typically work a Sunday-Thursday schedule. Will need to demonstrate excellent customer service skills, provide administrative support, and have knowledge of various computer software programs.  Will support staff in sports programs including, but not limited to, general facility upkeep, set-up and breakdown of athletic equipment, and overall operation. Experience in sports management, recreation, or youth development is preferred. CPR & First Aid certified/AED required; certifications can be provided on-site. Benefits package included with this position.

Men's Health Spa Attendant
Attendant needed for private membership-based adult locker room. Responsibilities to include but not limited to greeting members, providing a warm comfortable environment, laundry and cleaning services.

Fitness Specialist – Part-time

Candidate must have great customer service skills and a strong interest in Exercise. Interest in fitness and working with people a must. Experience working in Fitness or Fitness Certifications are a plus, but not necessary. Looking to fill 15+ hours, including evenings and weekends. CPR and First Aid will be required but can obtain once employed.

Infant/Toddler Teacher – Full-time
Responsible for providing quality caregiving to a group of children from four months to 3 years of age. Qualified individual must be able to provide a safe and nurturing environment that fosters social-emotional, physical and cognitive development while remaining responsive to the children following their individual schedules, developmentally appropriate practices, and NAEYC Accreditation standards. Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or Child Development with two years’ experience working in a NAEYC accredited child care program is required.


After-School Program Director – Part-time
Responsible for organizing, planning, administering and developing the children’s after-school and school vacation programs. Also must plan age-appropriate activities and holiday programs for children. Must be able to create a warm, welcoming, and safe environment for members, guests and staff.  B.S. degree in Elementary Education or 2-4 years’ experience working with elementary age school children.  First Aid, CPR and Epi-Pen required, certifications can be provided on site.

Indoor positions available at the Mandell JCC. Current CPR and First Aid certification required.
