Seasonal Nurse: Looking for a seasonal full-time nurse for our summer camp programs  

Qualifications include:  Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of CT, Familiar  with medications, Knowledge of summer camp health practices, Current CPR and First Aid certification required.  Responsibilities include but are not limited to provide proper nursing intervention regarding camper/staff illness, condition or emergency care and makes appropriate referrals and provides for follow up care as needed, Keeping records regarding administration of medication, prescribed treatments, and other health and medical needs. Following  State of CT standards in maintaining such records, Familiar with health protocols and standing orders approved by camp physicians, and follow protocols with campers and staff, Check on campers and staff throughout the day, Report facility and grounds health risk factors, Complete and follow up on incident reports

 


 

Full-Time Nurse: Looking for a full-time nurse

Qualifications include:  Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of CT, Familiar  with medications, Knowledge of health practices, Current CPR and First Aid certification required.  Responsibilities include but are not limited to provide proper nursing intervention regarding child/staff illness, condition or emergency care and makes appropriate referrals and provides for follow up care as needed, Keeping records regarding administration of medication, prescribed treatments, and other health and medical needs. Following  State of CT standards in maintaining such records, provide staff training, draft and implement policies and procedures, ensure staff are adhering to policies and protocols.

 


 

Facilities Technician/Grounds Keeper-Full-Time
Immediate opening for energetic, dedicated, and conscientious individual with a positive friendly attitude to join a strong team to maintain our buildings, machines, grounds, and it’s equipment.  Knowledge of mechanical working of building components and equipment, but not limited to, plumbing, electrical, painting, carpentry, HVAC, pool repairs, and hydraulic systems. Ability to operate and maintain landscape and snow removal equipment. Ability to work as a team, complete weekly assignments given by supervisor,  pays attention to detail, communicates effectively (written and oral) and to adhere to health and safety requirements. Ability to sit, stand, bend, crawl, stoop, reach or walk for extended period of time as well push, pull, and lift up to 75 pounds.  Trade work or accredited training program, however, equivalent work experience and appropriate training may be considered. Minimum of 3 years in maintenance capacity.  Valid Driver’s license and auto insurance is required.  Certified Pool Operator’s Certificate (C.P.O.) and Trade Certifications, a plus.

 

 



Lifeguards

Indoor positions available at the Mandell JCC. Current CPR and First Aid certification required.
