Early Childhood Center Administrative Assistant – Full-time
Responsible for providing administrative support and assisting with the ECC's daily operations in accordance with the philosophy, policies, practices and procedures of the program. Must be able to work as a team and communicate easily and knowledgeably with children, their families, and staff. Strong organizational and interpersonal skills, ability to prioritize and manage assignments and multiple projects is required. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, staff scheduling, coordinating substitutes and staff trainings, ordering supplies/food/materials as needed, organizing paperwork for mailings, and fielding and directing phone calls. Solid general computer skills required. Minimum Associate’s degree, a Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field preferred; at least 1 or more years’ experience working with young children.  First Aid, CPR and Epi-pen certifications a plus, but can obtain after being hired.


Facilities Technician – Full-time
To provide effective maintenance and repair services throughout the Center.  Ability to work as a team, complete weekly assignments given by supervisor, pay attention to detail, communicate effectively (written and orally) and adhere to health and safety requirements.  Ability to operate special equipment such as but not limited to power tools, snow plow, dump truck, and snow blower. Ability to push/pull/lift up to 75 pounds. High School diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 3 years in maintenance capacity.  Valid Driver’s license and auto insurance is required. Certified Pool Operator’s Certificate (C.P.O.) a plus.


Maintenance Supervisor – Full-time
Immediate opening for energetic, dedicated, & conscientious individual with a positive friendly attitude to assist our Facilities Director to maintain our  buildings, machines, and equipment. This is a working Supervisor position which involves supervising staff, inspecting facilities to determine problems and necessary maintenance, preparing weekly maintenance schedules and allocating work to maintenance personnel and outside contractors, if needed. Must have technical skills and knowledge of various crafts such as electrical and electronic troubleshooting, plumbing, and carpentry. Must be computer savvy. The goal is to ensure that our facilities are in safe and working condition. Ability to push/pull/lift up to 75 pounds.  High school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 5 years in supervisory capacity. Valid Driver’s license and auto insurance is required.  Certified Pool Operator’s Certificate (C.P.O.) and HVAC and Trade certification a plus.

Facilities Mechanic – Full-time
Must be able to independently troubleshoot and analyze systems and determine corrective actions for a wide range of building equipment, address system malfunctions or failures, and provide training as needed. Must have knowledge of welding repairs, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC.  Ability to work in a team setting, complete weekly assignments given by supervisor,  pay attention to detail, communicates effectively (written and orally) and to adhere to health and safety requirements. Ability to push/pull/lift up to 75 pounds.  High School diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 5 years in maintenance capacity.  Valid Driver’s license and auto insurance is required.  Certified Pool Operator’s Certificate (C.P.O.) and HVAC and Trade certification a plus.


Café Counter Staff – Part-time

Responsibilities include greeting customers, taking and fulfilling orders in a timely manner, maintaining a clean kitchen space, and consistently delivering quality customer service.  Must be able to push/pull/lift up to 50 pounds and stand or walk for extended periods of time. Must be able to use register to take payment for all orders, count back correct change and balance register daily. Additional responsibilities include ensuring that tables, chairs, walls, counters, floors are clean and inviting. Must have 1 years’ experience working in a kitchen. Customer service experience a plus. Flexible hours. Café open Monday-Friday and Sundays.

 
Preschool Teacher (ages 3-5) – Full-time

Looking for qualified individuals to provide a safe and nurturing environment that fosters social-emotional, physical and cognitive development. A strong background in child development, experience working in a NAEYC Accredited program, a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or CDA are required.


Infant/Toddler Teacher – Full-time
Responsible for providing quality caregiving to children from four months to 2.9 years. Must be able to provide a safe and nurturing environment and be responsive to the children’s individual needs and schedules. Knowledge of developmental milestones and appropriate practices is required. Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or CDA, and experience working in a NAEYC accredited program, are needed.

 

Women’s Health Spa Attendant – Part-time
Attendant needed for private membership-based women’s adult locker room. Responsibilities to include but not limited to greeting members, cleaning fitness equipment, cleaning both women’s locker rooms and the family locker room, folding laundry and providing a warm comfortable environment. Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds, stand, bend, kneel, lean and squat for prolonged periods of time.


Men's Health Spa Attendant – Part-time

Lifeguards
Indoor positions available at the Mandell JCC. Current CPR and First Aid certification required.
