The Mandell JCC offers a wide variety of Group Fitness classes to suit your needs and style. With multiple group fitness studios, we’re able to offer 90+ free weekly classes for all fitness levels. Using the Fitness program, we offer Body Pump®, Body Combat®, CX Worx®, Bodyflow®, and BodyStep®. We also offer Indoor Cycling, Zumba, Yoga, Mat Pilates and much more. Our aquatics center has a full complement of free group fitness.

We know some of the equipment can look intimidating, and that's why we're here. See any staff member on the fitness floor to help you navigate a new piece of equipment. We love introducing our members to something new!

 

 

Strength/Cardio

BodyCombat®The Les Mills high-energy, martial arts inspired, non-contact workout. Punch, kick, and strike your way to fitness.

BodyStep®The Les Mills full-body cardio workout to really tone your butt and thighs. Burn calories and leave buzzing with satisfaction.

HIITDesigned to take you through a series of High Intensity cardio drills, strength training, & core focused exercises with relatively brief rest periods. This workout will include the usage of tubing, weights, and your own body weight to ensure fast dramatic tness results.

P90XP90X is a group-focused, total-body strength and cardio class that incorporates proven principles from functional strength coaching. We will push you through personal plateaus, rock out to hardcore music together, and get in the best shape of our lives!

Total Body ConditioningThis class is designed to improve cardiovascular tness and muscular strength. Core, exibility and balance exercises are included for total body conditioning.

Bodyz Con$trukBODYZ Con$truK features a team approach to total body strength and conditioning in 3 phases: range of motion exercises, strength building movements using Interval Training and building a lean, toned and strong mid-section for your total body construction.

InsanityYour Insanity instructor will push you past your limits through plyometric drills with non-stop intervals of strength, power, resistance, and core training moves.

Grit CardioA 30-minute high-intensity interval training (HIIT) workout that improves cardiovascular tness, increase speed and maximize calorie burn. This Les Mills workout uses a variety of body weight exercises and provides the challenge and intensity you need to get results fast.

Deep H2O RunAn advanced class at the deeper end of the main pool. Feet are on the pool bottom and the body is suspended with the aid of an aqua jogger.

Deep TabataAn advanced class in the water and includes an intense form of interval training alternating periods of short intense anaerobic exercise with less intense recovery periods.

 
 

Cardio

Zumba: Using a fusion of Latin and International music, this class will get you dancing with dynamic, exciting, and high-energy steps and rhythms, creating a fun cardio based workout.

Sh'Bam®: The fun-loving, insanely addictive Les Mills dance workout-no dance experience required.

Indoor Cycling: A group experience. An instructor guides you through your ride, describing hills and simulating the terrain. You have the freedom to make your workout as challenging as you want.

Cardio Splash: An energetic water workout with lots of jumping, strengthening, stretching and fun.

 

 

Mind & Body

YogaRelax and quiet your mind, body and spirit with ancient yoga postures and controlled breathing techniques while you improve your exibility and balance.
Gentle YogaA beginning yoga class to help with releasing, calming, and restorative postures.
Power YogaA vigorous, dynamic class with a stimulating ow. Classes will build strength, exibility, and endurance. Familiarity with yoga is recommended, classes are easily modi ed for any experience level. Be willing to meet your edge as you integrate movement and breath in a warm room; you will leave feeling refreshed and energized.
Pilates PlusAn exciting class that incorporates a Pilates-based workout that will simultaneously stretch, strengthen, tone and align your body uniformly.
BarreTone, trim and transform your body with a fusion of ballet, Pilates and resistance training. This class is suitable for all tness levels, with many modi cations and challenges.
Yoqua-latesCombine the soothing environment of the warm pool with the principles of Yoga, Pilates and Tai Chi, which includes stretching, balance, core strengthening and stability. A owing mind-body class that will leave you refreshed.

 


 

Active Adults

The JCC offers many classes that are geared towards active seniors, including Fit for Life, Zumba Gold, and more. These classes are set at a less strenuous pace and offer options to progressively challenge yourself.

 


 

Introductory & Refresher Classes

If you’re new to Group Fitness, getting started is easy! Our free introductory one-on-one/small group sessions ensure fun and success for beginners. Learn basic terminology, proper settings and safe equipment usage for Spinning, Yoga, and Bodypump and more.
