Group Exercise Many of our members love to exercise in groups because it's fun and motivating, and our certified instructors have such varied expertise.
With multiple group exercise studios, the JCC is able to offer 70+ weekly classes for all fitness levels from high energy Group Power, Spinning™ or Zumba to the more relaxing mind/body options of Yoga or Mat Pilates™ to our classes for seniors, such as chair Tai Chi. We also offer a full complement of water exercise classes and monthly group exercise specialty master classes.
Plus – there are plenty of special events for charity, such as Spin for the Cure, Spin for the Heart, Winter Challenge and the Poker Bike Ride which allow participants to get a great workout and raise money for a good cause at the same time.

Group Groove™ – Get a Move On!
Assistant Fitness Director Dave LaPorte says, "If you think of a hard workout on a treadmill or in a pool as a main meal, Group Groove is just like a sweet dessert!"
If you can move, you can "Groove." You'll stomp, flick, wiggle, hip, hop, snap, shimmy, shake, slide, glide … and laugh your way through this 60-minute fitness dance program. It's a fun fusion of club, urban and Latin dance styles and motivating chart-topping hits and retro classic tunes.
