New Americans

Our special programs for Russian-speaking émigrés from the former Soviet Union foster a sense of community and connection with American and Jewish life. The New American programs offer educational, social and cultural venues that honor and preserve émigré traditions, connection to Russian language, and arts and culture.

Program partners include Congregation Beth Israel, Juniper House Adult Day Care and Chabad of The Valley.

Ongoing Programs

• History of Judaism with Rabbi Samuels from Chabad of the Valley, second Tuesday of the month, 11:00 am - 12:00 pm.
• Shabbat with Russian Seniors with Rabbi Samuels from Chabad of the Valley, last Friday of the month, 12:00 - 1:00 pm.
• Arts and Crafts for New Americans with Lucy Dratva, every other Tuesday, 10:00 am - 12:00 pm.

• Current Events with Andre Brel, bi-monthly on Wednesdays, 4:00.
