Senior Adults

At the Mandell JCC, active and engaged senior adults in our community can keep their minds and bodies young by getting involved in stimulating social and educational programs and fitness classes. We offer many classes that are geared towards active seniors, including Silver Strength, Chair Exercise, Tai Chi, Zumba Gold, Water Walking and more. These classes are set at a less strenuous pace and offer options to progressively challenge yourself.

Our daytime adult programs include the Brunch & Learn Speaker Series, Book Club, Current Events discussion group, Intergenerational discussion group, monthly Luncheons and Café Europa, a social group for Holocaust survivors. We also offer day trips and excursions to museums and the Hartford Stage, as well as other theatrical events.

The JCC reserves the right to cancel any class for insufficient registration. Participants will be notified as soon as possible and their fees refunded.  A refund will be given if the participant withdraws one week prior to the beginning of the activity.  Refunds will not be given once a class has begun.

For more information, please contact Sharon Holtzberg, sholtzberg@mandelljcc.org.
