JCC Maccabi ArtsFest

July 24-August 5, 2011 – in Israel

What is JCC Maccabi ArtsFest?

Initiated by the JCC Association, ArtsFest is a spectacular five-day summer program for teens that was designed to inspire creativity through a combination of workshops, performances, exhibitions and social activities, and engage teens in an intensive Jewish building experience.

What to expect at JCC Maccabi ArtsFest

During the JCC Maccabi ArtsFest, teens focus on their artistic specialty and prepare for the talent showcase while bonding with other teens during social activities and meals.

Host families greet teens when they arrive on Sunday, and teens then have the opportunity to meet with their artists-in-residence prior to the opening event.

Days are spent in master classes and participating in community service through the Day of Caring, and evenings are spent relaxing at host family nights and other social activities. On Thursday, exhibits and performances are prepared for the talent showcase.
