Because good health is about more than just exercise, we also offer physical therapy, cardiac rehabilitation, nutrition counseling; and programs in health education, weight management and integrative medicine.
Physical Therapy Services
Provided by Mount Sinai Rehabilitation Hospital, the Physical Therapy Center specializes in assessing and treating orthopedic, sports-related, and neurological injuries and conditions such as neck and back pain, muscle and ligament injuries, stroke and multiple sclerosis. The Center also offers post-surgical rehabilitation including joint replacements, ACL reconstruction and rotator cuff repairs.

Co-sponsored by the JCC and Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center, the Cardiac Rehabilitation program is a medically supervised and monitored exercise and educational program for people with a history of heart disease (angina, coronary artery bypass grafting, heart attacks) or with coronary risk factors (smoking, hypertension, elevated cholesterol, diabetes, obesity), or a family history of heart disease.

Let the Mandell JCC help you find a greater sense of well-being with nutritional counseling services for weight control, cholesterol reduction, exercise and/or adopting a healthier lifestyle. Carol Tyler, M.A., R.D., CDN, who is associated with Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center, is available for individual or group sessions at the JCC. Carol will facilitate permanent lifestyle change and will help you to stop the dieting and weight-gain cycle.
