MANDELL JEWISH COMMUNITY CENTER TO HOST
HEALTHY HEARTS SPINNINGTM CHALLENGE
Local Politicians to Participate


WEST HARTFORD, Conn., February 27, 2008- The Mandell Jewish Community Center will be hosting the Healthy Hearts Spinning TM Challenge on Sunday, March 16th from 8:00am-noon in the Chase/ Freedman Gallery at the Mandell JCC-Zachs Campus, 335 Bloomfield Avenue in West Hartford. The event will raise money for the American Heart Association.

Both Scott Slifka, Mayor of West Hartford and Connecticut State Senator Jonathan A. Harris will be participating in this event which requires a $20 donation for each hour on the Spinning TM bike. Riders may ride for any length of time they choose.

The funds raised from the charity ride will benefit the American Heart Association and will go toward research, education, and community programs leading the fight against America's No. 1 killer, cardiovascular disease.
