A consortium of Jewish agencies, synagogues and organizations is proud to present a year-long celebration of Israel on the occasion of her 75th year.  We will feature a diverse range of events and activities that will educate, inspire, and engage our community. This will be a celebration of Israel’s rich history and traditions, as well as her modern-day contributions to the world. From art exhibits, and musical performances to guest speakers and film screenings, there will be something for everyone to enjoy, fostering a deeper understanding and appreciation of Israel and its people.

We are grateful for the generous grant from the Jewish Community Foundation of Greater Hartford for supporting the year-long celebration of Israel at 75.

We invite everyone to join us for this exciting year of celebration.

The Hartford-Israel Connection

November 6-21 | Chase Gallery, Mandell JCC

This exhibit traces important connections between the Jewish communities of Greater Hartford and Israel over time, from early Zionist clubs of the early 1900s to the different ties that link Israel and Hartford today. The exhibit will include unique photos, documents, and artifacts from the Jewish Historical Society’s collection documenting support for and personal experiences in Israel.
