The Land of Israel in Jewish Thought

The Institute of Jewish Ideas is a community-wide Jewish learning initiative, supported by a community donor through a family fund at the Jewish Community Foundation.
This year’s program will explore the evolution of “the Land of Israel” in Jewish thought from the Bible, to the teachings of the Rabbis, the place of the Land in the Jewish imagination in the medieval period, and finally its evolution in religious, cultural, and political terms in the modern period.

• March 28: Concluding panel discussion with course instructors
Hybrid Sessions: The series will be offered in-person at the Mandell JCC and online via Zoom for those who would like to join remotely.
