As a non-profit organization, the Mandell JCC relies on philanthropy to sustain this work. In fact, 20% of our annual budget comes from generous community support.

Donate Appreciated Stocks
- Donate appreciated stocks or securities directly to the JCC, which can potentially provide you with tax advantages. By donating these assets, you may be able to avoid capital gains taxes and claim a charitable deduction based on the fair market value of the donated securities. Make A Gift From Your Donor Advised Fund (DAF)
- Consider a gift from a donor advised fund (DAF), which allows you to make a tax-deductible donation to the fund and then recommend grants to the JCC. This approach can provide you with an immediate tax benefit while also enabling you to support our mission in a sustained manner.
Use your IRA for good!
- A charitable IRA Rollover is a special provision allowing particular donors of age 701⁄2 and above to make a QCD – a transfer of IRA assets directly to public charities like the Mandell JCC – thereby excluding that amount from taxable income and counting toward their RMD.
Double Your Impact With a Matching Gift
- You may be eligible to get a matching gift from your employer (or your spouse’s employer) which can double or triple the impact of your JCC gift. Be sure to contact your company’s Human Resources office to see if your employer will match your gift.
