Special Needs
Adults with developmental disabilities can enjoy year-round social and recreational programs designed to enable them to interact with their peers and improve their social skills, all while developing meaningful relationships. We partner with the Jewish Association for Community Living and other group homes in the area and also welcome those living independently or with their families.
We take full advantage of the JCC facilities, including the pottery studio and The Swim & Tennis Club, which hosts the annual Swim and BBQ Party.
For questions or for more information or to join our email list, please contact Becky Munday, Special Needs Program Coordinator, 860-231-6339, bmunday@mandelljcc.org.
The JCC reserves the right to cancel any class for insufficient registration. Participants will be notified as soon as possible and their fees refunded. A refund will be given if the participant withdraws one week prior to the beginning of the activity. Refunds will not be given once a class has begun.
