PJ Library
PJ Library is an award-winning program for children from birth to 8-years-old. Founded by philanthropist Harold Grinspoon to promote Jewish literacy and family engagement, each child registered with PJ Library receives a free high-quality, age-appropriate Jewish-themed book, mailed to the home every month.
Facilitated by the Mandell JCC, PJ Library books are a gift from The Harold Grinspoon Foundation and funded locally by the Jewish Community Foundation, advised by the Zachs Family and the Lions of Judah through the Women's Philanthropy Division of the Jewish Federation of Greater Hartford.
To register your child for PJ Library, log on to www.pjlibrary.org or contact Susan Lentini, slentini@mandelljcc.org, 860-231-6374. Once enrolled, you will receive a monthly e-newsletter with activities for families with young children held throughout the community.

PJ Our Way
PJ Our Way offers the gift of Jewish-themed books to kids ages 9-12. Every month you can choose a book from a selection of high quality titles reviewed by PJ Library educators, parents and tweens. Members of PJOW can write reviews and author blogs on a website that is safe and moderated by PJ educators. Participants can also apply to be part of a national Design Team that creates featured content for the website.
